Stainless steel arbors and wire springs. Nickel silver keys with nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating. Handmade full conservatory mechanism including split ring E(flat)-E trill key, F(sharp) key tab, third octave key, low B(flat) vent key, left hand F, alternate C, and articulated C(sharp). Cork pads on low C and above. Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Accessories include a French-style professional instrument case, reed and reed case, screwdriver, silk swab, and cork grease.TuningIndividually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72 F, with maximum resonance and projection. | BG Swab for Wing Joint, chamois | The Buffet Muncy barrel has been more than 10 years in the making. Designed by Philip Muncy for Buffet Crampon in France, this barrel is hand finished and play tested by Philip Muncy. Each barrel is made from the most select unstained grenadilla woods. Every barrel features silver plated rings. This reversed taper bore was inspired by the late Hans Moennig and Anthony Gigliotti. Producing a beautiful ringing tone that is responsive and keeps its shape in every dynamic range.
