Many believe the way it removes material from the reed to be superior with its naturally high silica content. Sandpaper pushes cane dust into the reed as rush pulls the fibers out. | This glass resurfacer is the best for fixing warped reeds. Made of real glass that is etched creating a surface that will last forever, unlike sandpaper. Simply sand the back of the reed that touches the mouthpiece in a circular motion allowing the tip of the reed to extend over the sanding surface.
