Content | V12 reeds are manufactured from cane tubes with the same diameter as cane used for alto saxophone reeds. As a result, they have a thicker heel and are cut with a longer vamp with a slightly thicker tip than the Traditional. The longer vamp means that more of the reed is vibrating, resulting in a deeper, richer sound.
The thicker tip gives body to the attack. | Premium reeds that are known for their cutting edge. Great for Jazz. Available in Soft, Medium Soft, Medium, Medium Hard, and Hard Strengths. Box of 10.
| Quality, Consistency and Flexibility
Designed for a wide variety of playing situations, Rico Royal is a high-quality reed for serious saxophone and clarinet players, yet is priced affordability to meet the needs of both professionals and students. French filed for freedom of response, especially in the low register, adding clarity to the tone and making soft attacks easier. Strengths 1.5-4. 10 Reeds per box.
| Superiority proven over many years, these reeds suit all styles of music.
The principal acoustic qualities are :
Excellent response in all registers, even allowing a pianissimo attack of the highest notes. Flexibility allowing the legato or staccato execution of large intervals.
| Designed for those clarinetists looking for a reed with a dark sound. These reeds have more wood in the heart. They are more scraped in the shoulders, thus producing a deep low register. These reeds are made on computer run equipment (CNC). 5 Reeds per box.
| Bari Star is a new concept. This material is Avilar, a new space age development that allows for shaping onreed cane machinery, just like cane. The material is constant and dependable.
