Made to play with a powerful and focused sound,
the Patricola CL.2 Virtuoso Bb Clarinet is a favorite among European
orchestral players and soloists. Each Virtuoso clarinet features a
grenadilla or rosewood body with silver-plated keys, Patricola's
patented key adjustment system, and comes complete with two barrels. In
order to increase intonation accuracy and provide an even feel
throughout all registers, the CL.2 Virtuoso is equipped with a B4
barrel, new bell, and new body design. These improvements create a
clarinet that plays as well or better than instruments costing thousands
more. | The Buffet Muncy barrel was more than 10 years in the making. Designed by Philip Muncy for Buffet Crampon in France, this barrel is hand finished and play tested by Philip Muncy. Each barrel is made from the most select unstained grenadilla woods. Every barrel features silver plated rings. This reversed taper bore was inspired by the late Hans Moennig and Anthony Gigliotti.
