The VMC5 is the transparent mouthpiece patch, with a thickness of .35mm. The new VMCX5 is a black mouthpiece patch that is slightly thicker, at .80mm. | Available in two thickness'. Thin clear (.33mm) works best if used behind the ligature to prevent scratching the mouthpiece. The black thick (.87mm) is most popular if used on the mouthpiece beek where the teeth rest.
