Available in the new facings AL3, AL4 and AL5 a new rail and facing design and an overall body design update not only makes the mouthpiece stand our visually, but is responsible for the Optimum's sound as well. Vandoren's Optimum obtains a free-blowing response with a beautiful tone and great intonation. | JAVA ebonite mouthpieces are suited to jazz, soul and funk. Similar in sound concept to a metal mouthpiece, with the comfortable feel of ebonite.
Features a high baffle to offer more projection and flexibility. The large patches work best for the larger instruments like saxophone and bass clarinet while the smaller one are best suited to clarinet.
