Bb=66 Standard A=65 Standard | Muncy Handmade Ringless Clarinet Barrel Grenadilla Wood Beautifully hand crafted Rose Wood ringless clarinet barrels are newly designed to improve most clarinets, including Buffet and Leblanc. Three unique wood species produces its own unique tonal color. These select woods have been aged by Muncy Winds since 1997 producing the most stable barrels on the market. Each barrel is handmade to release the unique sound that nature had intended for that particular piece of wood. These barrels are known for producing an incredible hold and evenness in sound. Grenadilla wood produces a ringing orchestral tone.
| The Buffet Muncy barrel was more than 10 years in the making. Designed by Philip Muncy for Buffet Crampon in France, this barrel is hand finished and play tested by Philip Muncy. Each barrel is made from the most select unstained grenadilla woods. Every barrel features silver plated rings. This reversed taper bore was inspired by the late Hans Moennig and Anthony Gigliotti. Producing a beautiful ringing tone that is responsive and keeps its shape in every dynamic range. This barrel voices astonishingly well and is sure to please those that have enjoyed the best of the Moennig style barrels. | Muncy Bb Clarinet Grenadilla Wood Barrel with Silver Plated Rings These clarinet barrels are produced from the highest grade wood. This select wood has been seasoned since 1997 in our controlled facility. They are NOT machined on CNC machines.
