Features include a new chamber with a redesigned baffle and sidewalls to provide an even more centered tone; a new tip rail for a more precise fit of reed; and a longer shape for a more secure fit and easier tuning.

Available in the new facings SL3 and SL4, a new rail and facing design and an overall body design update not only makes the mouthpiece stand our visually, but is responsible for the Optimum's sound as well. Vandoren's Optimum obtains a free-blowing response with a beautiful tone and great intonation.
