| The Buffet Muncy barrel was more than 10 years in the making. Designed by Philip Muncy for Buffet Crampon in France, this barrel is hand finished and play tested by Philip Muncy. Each barrel is made from the most select unstained grenadilla woods. Every barrel features silver plated rings. This reversed taper bore was inspired by the late Hans Moennig and Anthony Gigliotti. Producing a beautiful ringing tone that is responsive and keeps its shape in every dynamic range. This barrel voices astonishingly well and is sure to please those that have enjoyed the best of the Moennig style barrels. |
