| The Buffet Muncy barrel was more than 10 years in the making. Designed by Philip Muncy for Buffet Crampon in France, this barrel is hand finished and play tested by Philip Muncy. Each barrel is made from the most select unstained grenadilla woods. Every barrel features silver plated rings. This reversed taper bore was inspired by the late Hans Moennig and Anthony Gigliotti. Producing a beautiful ringing tone that is responsive and keeps its shape in every dynamic range. This barrel voices astonishingly well and is sure to please those that have enjoyed the best of the Moennig style barrels. | The gentle fibers are specifically designed to thoroughly clean your clarinet while protecting the bore. Best moisture absorption available. | Buffet's stock metal silver plated ligature. Optional silver plated cap will fit this ligature. | Available in two thickness'. Thin clear (.33mm) works best if used behind the ligature to prevent scratching the mouthpiece. The black thick (.87mm) is most popular if used on the mouthpiece beek where the teeth rest.
